Oíche na hÓige/Youth Night with AAEX TEENS

AAEX TEENS will showcase their work as part of Oíche na hÓige/Youth Night, an initiative to give youth clubs an opportunity to present themselves to the public. The event takes place on 21^st November, 7 – 9 pm at Creative Spark Downtown Hub, 42-43 Clanbrassil Street, Dundalk.

AAEX Teens is an open minded, creative youth group!

You can be yourself! Art is all about putting it all out there!

About AAEX Teens

AAEX Teens was set up in 2024 as a volunteer led youth group to provide a platform for young artists for creative exchange and collaborative development of their own ideas in the target age group 6th class primary to 3rd year secondary school. It is facilitated by adult AAEX artists.

AAEX Teens is an art club which young artists lead themselves to realise their creative interests.

The group usually meets every second Tuesday from 7 – 9 pm at Creative Spark or undertakes other activities as opportunities arise.

There is a limit as to how many participants the group can have. However, we currently have some openings and are reviewing notes of interests on a first come first served basis. If you are interested, please drop us a note at aaex.teens.dundalk@gmail.com

In 2024 AAEX Teens received funding from the LMETB Youth Grant.

Preparing Stop Motion Workshops for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024

In June 2024 AAEX Teens invited other young artists to join them at Market Square, Dundalk, for some public stop motion animation work shops. An event kindly supported by Creative Ireland and Louth County Council.
